What's Good in Brockville? A hockey tournament supporting veterans, active service members with mental health struggles

In support of Wounded Warriors Canada

This Friday and Saturday (Oct. 3-4) is the third annual, Bird Construction Elliott Aube Memorial Hockey Tournament at the Brockville Memorial Centre.

Elliott was a Canadian military service member out of Edmonton who unfortunately lost his life due to mental health struggles.

Organizer Jason Ross says this event is in support of Wounded Warriors Canada.

Ross says the tournament will have eight teams and will start at around 1 p.m. Friday with the last game at 4:30, followed by an 8:30 a.m. start Saturday with the championship game at 4:30.

Ross is pleased to have NHL alumni participate again this year.
