Volunteers wanted for Gord Brown Memorial Golf Tournament with NHL alumni attending

The annual tournament supports the work of United Way Leeds & Grenville and its efforts to strengthen local communities through programs and partnerships

United Way Leeds & Grenville is looking for volunteers to help make the 6th Annual Gord Brown Memorial Golf Tournament a success next month.

The tournament will take place on Thursday, Aug. 13, and organizers are seeking volunteers for a variety of roles throughout the day.

Opportunities include helping with registration, activity holes, hole-in-one spotting, event setup and the post-golf reception. Volunteers can sign up for a few hours or spend the entire day assisting with the fundraiser.

Organizers say volunteers will also have the chance to be part of an event featuring four former NHL players.

The opportunity is open to adults and mature high school students who are looking to earn volunteer hours while supporting the community.
