Hydro crews continue responding with 3:30 p.m. as the estimated time for restoration.
A hydro pole fire has caused a power outage affecting hundreds of Hydro One customers in the Reynolds Drive and Sunset Boulevard area in Brockville this afternoon.
Janet, an affected resident in the area describes what she heard from inside her home.
After hearing multiple loud bangs, Janet says she was concerned about whether or not the other neighbours heard it.
Fire and Hydro One crews responded right away, she adds.
Hydro crews continue responding with 3:30 as the estimated time for restoration.
Residents are warned to avoid the area because of high-voltage 40-kilovolt lines and use caution by treating the Reynolds and North Augusta intersection as a four-way stop.
