Upcoming registration events will be held at Blockhouse Island on Monday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and Aug. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Brockville Police Service is encouraging residents to protect their bicycles by taking advantage of free bike registration events taking place throughout the summer.
The program is being hosted by Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI) students and is designed to help police return bicycles that are lost or stolen. Registration is free, quick and open to all community members.

The program also made a stop at the Tim Hortons Camp Day Kick-Off on William Street on July 11.
Residents are encouraged to bring their bicycles and meet the YIPI students while registering their bikes. Police say the program helps improve the chances of recovering stolen or misplaced bicycles and returning them to their owners.
The Brockville Police Service reminds cyclists to ride safely and keep their bicycles protected by registering them.
