Woman arrested after string of vehicle thefts in Brockville

On Tuesday, August 12th

Brockville police have arrested a woman accused of stealing items from multiple vehicles on King Street West.

On August 12, 2025, around 10 a.m., officers received a complaint about property stolen on different dates.

CCTV footage captured the thefts, with the total value of stolen goods estimated at about $480.

Police say the suspect, a 41-year-old local woman, was found later that day around 2 p.m. in the same area.

Some of the stolen property was reportedly in her possession at the time of arrest.

She faces two counts of theft under $5,000 and three counts of failing to comply with probation orders.

Authorities note she was already bound by three separate probation orders and has a history of similar offences.

The woman was held in custody for a bail hearing. Police remind residents to keep vehicles locked and valuables out of sight.
