Environment Canada weighs in
The average temperature for this time of year is supposed to be 11 degrees. Anyone who has stepped outside in recent days knows we've ben well off of that.
But don't worry, Environment Canada Senior Climatologist David Phillips says the mercury will rise.
Phillips adds that the warmer temperatures won't be fleeting either, according to forecast models.
Looking at the forecast for the week, we're expecting a double-digit high of 12 tomorrow, then 15 and sunny Sunday in Brockville. It ciould get cooler on Tuesday at 7 degrees, if the current model holds.
