A cooler airmass is expected Thursday night
Brockville is baking under a heat wave this week, prompting warnings from Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Dealing with the heat means closing curtains during the day to block sun and running errands for cooler hours.
Senior Climatologist David Phillips explains its key to check in on family and friends during abnormal heat like this.
Phillips also said that temperature in Canada is measured in the shade, so what you see may not be what you get.
David also stated that although we are used to it, this is not the end of the dangerous heat.
Authorities advise everyone to stay alert for signs of heat illness.
