Police make shocking discovery after stopping man at McDonald’s in Brockville

Police continue to remind the public to report suspicious activity and stolen vehicles immediately

Brockville police made a surprising arrest after spotting a man on a motorcycle in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Parkedale Avenue around noon on October 19. When the officer checked the motorcycle, it was found to have been reported stolen.

The 43-year-old man, who was not the registered owner, was arrested at the scene. During a search, officers found a quantity of methamphetamine in his possession. Police say the man was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of methamphetamine, and failing to comply with probation.

In addition to the criminal charges, he received several Highway Traffic Act fines. The suspect was released with conditions and given a future court date.

Police continue to remind the public to report suspicious activity and stolen vehicles immediately. The recovered motorcycle will be returned to its rightful owner as the investigation continues.
