When asked what the largest federal election issue facing residents in Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes (LGTIRL), NDP Candidate Paul Lancione echoed the words of others on the ballots - the trade war with the US and the Tariffs.
Lancione notes that trade disputes with our closest ally are nothing new, but it's different this time around.
Lancione says he's hit the streets to hear constituents' concerns over the issue at the ground level.
He says the NDP's plan will guide the county through the crisis by taking care of Canadians.
