Protecting farmers is paramount

Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes NDP Candidate Paul Lancione says part of Jagmeet Singh's plan to take care of Canadians involves putting measures in place to reduce the price of food.

He also says that involves taking care of the people who provide our food.

Lancione says when the Canadian Government is making deals with the Trump Government, it needs to be assured that they are putting local farmers first.
