Bonnie Pidgeon, Executive Director of the South Grenville Food Bank, has been awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her outstanding service to the community.
The medal recognizes Bonnie’s tireless work in fighting hunger and supporting families in need across the region. She was honoured alongside Carolyn Stewart, CEO of Feed Ontario, and Kirsten Beardsley, CEO of Food Banks Canada.
Pidgeon’s leadership has helped grow local support networks and improve access to food for many vulnerable residents. Known for her compassion and determination, she continues to lead with a deep commitment to community care.
“We’re incredibly proud of Bonnie,” said the South Grenville Food Bank team. “Her work is changing lives every day.”
The Coronation Medal honours Canadians who make exceptional contributions at the local level.
