LGPS' ‘Stuff A Truck’ event comes to Brockville

Donations will be accepted tomorrow (Nov. 29) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at both Walmart and the Real Canadian Superstore

Leeds and Grenville Paramedic Service says local generosity was on full display last weekend during its latest “Stuff A Truck” event at the Kemptville Walmart.

Paramedics collected almost $800 in cash donations and about 300 toys and food items for the Kemptville Salvation Army. The service said the community’s response exceeded expectations and will help families who are facing increased pressure during the holiday season.

Organizers described the event as a strong start to the Season of Giving and thanked residents who stopped by to donate, share encouragement or learn more about the initiative. They say every contribution, big or small, helps families in need.

The paramedic service is now preparing for the next “Stuff A Truck” event in Brockville. Donations will be accepted tomorrow (Nov. 29) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at both Walmart and the Real Canadian Superstore.

Residents are encouraged to bring new toys, food items or monetary donations to support local families this holiday season.
