St. Lawrence College will celebrate its spring convocation for the Brockville campus today (Friday, June 6) at 11 a.m. at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
About 350 students will graduate from programs such as Pre-Service Firefighter, Music Theatre – Performance, and Nursing. Programs from the Schools of Allied Health, Arts, Media and Design, Business, Community Services, Interdisciplinary Studies, and SLC+ Continuing Education will also be represented.
The event marks a major milestone with the first graduating class from the College’s standalone Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree program.
Brett Christopher, Managing Director of the Thousand Islands Playhouse, will receive an Honorary Diploma during the ceremony.
“We are immensely proud of what our graduating students have achieved,” said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO.
Parking is free during the event. The ceremony will be livestreamed at stlawrencecollege.ca.
