Greg Davies is retiring
On Thursday, June 19, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville honoured longtime paramedic Greg Davies as he retired after more than 30 years of service.
Davies began his career on April 13, 1994, with Brockville Ambulance Service. He later served with North Leeds Ambulance and joined the newly formed Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service in 2001.
Known for his calm and professional manner, Davies has been a reliable presence on emergency calls and a mentor to many young paramedics. His strong work ethic and commitment to patient care made a lasting impact across the region.
County officials praised his decades of dedication, noting his leadership, compassion, and teamwork. Colleagues said he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire.
As Davies steps away from the job, the community thanks him for his unwavering service and the lives he touched throughout his career.
