It happened on Buell Street
A fire broke out early Tuesday morning at a duplex on Buell Street, drawing a quick response from emergency crews.
At around 8:00 a.m. on July 8, Brockville police were called to the scene to help manage traffic and keep people away from the danger zone. Firefighters from the Brockville Fire Department arrived shortly after and began battling the blaze.
The fire had started in one side of the duplex and spread into the other attached unit. Thankfully, all residents were safely removed from the building before the fire could cause further harm.
Fire crews were able to bring the situation under control and stop the flames from spreading to nearby properties. No injuries were reported, and the fire was later deemed not to be suspicious.
The cause of the fire has not been released, and officials continue to investigate the full extent of the damage.
