The club committed to the time capsule in December 2000
It was a packed house at Spencerville's Town Hall on Monday night as former members of the Edwardsburgh Figure Skating Club came together to open their time capsule 25 years after its inception in December of 2000.
Former member Jessica Flynn, who started figure skating when she was three years old and competed until age 30, said it felt surreal.
Flynn talked about some of items.
Sentimental treasures included trophies, an old pair of skates, newspaper clippings, and more.
The EFSC has been closed since 2022.
