The United Way of Leeds and Grenville and 3M Canada officially kicked off their 2025 campaign Wednesday morning with the goal of raising $900,000 as well as the launch of the 3M Harvest Lunch Program at the Brockville Legion.
Now in its fifth year, the program has become a community tradition aimed at fighting food insecurity.
Volunteer Megan Metcalf explained how the program works.
She also spoke about the program’s goals for this year.
Executive Director of the United Way of Leeds and Grenville, Hailie Jack explained how the community can get involved with this great initiative.
Proceeds will go to funding community meals served at local organizations throughout the fall.
The United Way says the goal this year is to serve 2,000 meals.
