Canada’s longest running Rockabilly festival returns to Brockville for final show

The festival runs until Sunday

Canada’s longest running Rockabilly festival, the Red Hot and Blue Rockabilly Weekend, is back in Brockville for its 20th and final edition.

The four-day festival runs from August 28 to 31 and will feature international musicians, vendors, activities, and live performances across the city.

Organizer Nathalie Lavergne shared why this year’s festival is so meaningful.

Concerts will take place nightly at St. John’s United Church, with daytime shows at St. Lawrence Park on Saturday and the 1000 Islands Brewing Company on Sunday.

The lineup includes artists from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Lavergne emphasized that the festival has no dress code.

Tickets are available online.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to make this last Rockabilly Weekend the most memorable celebration yet, as Brockville bids farewell to a unique festival that has been part of its cultural scene for two decades.
