She will be honoured on September 18
Stephanie Steed has been named Brockville’s 2025 Citizen of the Year and will be honoured at the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce’s 66th Awards of Excellence Gala this September.
Born and raised in Brockville, Steed is the Executive Director of the Brockville and Area Community Foundation. She’s known for her strong leadership, compassion, and tireless work for local causes.
Alongside her professional work, Steed volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville and supports her family’s business, Spencerville Pharmasave.
She and her husband also founded the Brockville Healthy Families Fund to help local groups tackle mental health, housing, food access, and more.
Steed, a Top 40 Under 40 recipient in 2022, is praised for her empathy and community spirit.
The gala takes place Sept. 18 at the Brockville Country Club. Tickets are limited and available at www.brockvillechamber.com.
