The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce has announced Lesley Patry as the 2025 President’s Award recipient. Patry is co-chair of the Brockville Butterfly Run, which supports families experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss.
The President’s Award is given at the discretion of the Chamber President and honours exceptional leadership and community service. Patry is the tenth person to receive the award since it began in 2009.
Patry founded the Butterfly Run in Brockville in 2018 after the stillbirth of her daughter, Clementine. Inspired by a similar event in Ottawa-Gatineau, she created a space for local families to heal and feel supported. Her message: “You are not alone.”
Patry will be honoured at the Chamber’s 66th Awards of Excellence Gala on Thursday, Sept. 18 at the Brockville Country Club. Seating is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance at brockvillechamber.com or by calling 613-342-6553.
