Brockville residents are reminded that many city services will be closed on Monday, August 4 for the Civic Holiday. City Hall, the Gord Watts Municipal Centre, the Water Filtration Plant, and the Wastewater Treatment Centre will all be closed.
There will also be no City Transit or waste and recycling collection that day. Residents should place waste items out one day later than usual from August 4 to August 8.
The Compost Site and Brockville Arts Centre will also be closed. The Brockville Museum and Public Library will not open on the holiday either.
The Brockville Tourism, Visitor Information Centre at 16 Market Street East will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tourism Ambassadors will be out across the city to welcome visitors.
