A Brockville & Area Sports Hall of Fame inductee
Brockville’s Jay Glynn has been officially inducted into the USA Boxing-sanctioned Masters Division Hall of Fame.
Glynn, a proud member of SouthPaw Boxing Brockville, earned the honour after years of dedication to the sport. When he couldn’t find enough open class opponents in Canada, Glynn took his talent south of the border. He competed in Masters tournaments across the United States, including Las Vegas, Houston, Connecticut and Boston.
He won the majority of his fights, most of them by stoppage, and lost only two matches by decision. His skill, determination and sportsmanship made him stand out in the highly competitive Masters division.
Now recognized by the Hall of Fame, Glynn is celebrated not just for his victories, but for representing Brockville boxing with pride.
SouthPaw Boxing calls him “Brockville’s original SouthPaw”—and now he’s a Hall of Famer, too.
