No one was hurt, and no weapons were found
An extensive police search in Maitland ended safely Thursday with the arrest of a wanted man.
OPP officers were at a home for an unrelated call around noon when a high-risk suspect bolted from the scene. Police brought in specialized units, including the canine team, a helicopter, and drones.
After a six-hour search, 30-year-old Alexander Ubdegrove of Brockville was arrested without incident near County Road 2.
Ubdegrove faces several charges, including resisting arrest, fleeing police, and taking a vehicle without consent.
