The Athens Snowmobile Club has announced the closure of local trails as mild temperatures make conditions unsafe for riding.
Officials thanked permit buyers for their support, landowners for granting access, and volunteers for maintaining the trails. While the season ended early, the club looks forward to welcoming riders back next winter.
