We are profiling Jeff Hatcher, Owner of The Brick Brockville.
The Brick is a Canadian owned and operated furniture store with over 200 locations across the country. Here in Brockville, the store is located at 491 Stewart Blvd and Jeff is proud to say that next year will be their 20th anniversary.
Jeff says that business has been good, and whether it be for the food bank or for a local soccer team, he says that The Brick Brockville is always there and willing to help.

We are profiling Margaret Hudson, President and CEO of Burnbrae Farms Ltd.
Burnbrae is a sixth-generation, family owned Canadian company known for their high quality eggs. Margaret says believe it or not, the company has been operating in Brockville and Lyn for over 130 years.
Margaret says she loves this country, the entire company loves this country, and this area with the St. Lawrence river and their family farm in Lyn is special.

Today we are profiling the Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust, a nature conservancy, located in Athens.
The 111 acre property features a recently renovated barn with plenty of history behind it.
Marnie Ross, one of the Directors at the property says one along with the vast amount of property for people to come and visit, they also take great pride in the Glen Elbe Learning Centre located on site.
Several students each year learn this history of the region, the property and gain more knowledge of nature in general.
Marnie stopped by the myFM studio and told us all about what happens with Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust and the Glen Elbe Learning Centre.

We are profiling Owain Devlin, Head Brew Master at 1000 Islands Brewery in downtown Brockville.
The brewery is located in the former home of a staple business in Brockville, the Dave Jones Sports Shop. It resides in the centre core of King Street and the brewery has called it home since 2019, but as Owain tells us, the process with owner Jason Curry started in 2018.
Owain says the majority of the beverages that are brewed at 1000 Islands Brewery are 100% Canadian made.

We are profiling the United Way Leeds and Grenville, which has been around for nearly 70 years, serving the region in many ways.
Melissa Hindman recently took time to speak with us about what they do for the community.
She says her and the staff at UWLG take great pride in the work they do from supporting local organizations to helping others when they need it.
Their mission is quite simple, improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action.
Hindman recently dropped by the myFM studio and talked to us about what the United Way does.

We are profiling Phil Audet, Owner of Arbru Solar Brewery in Mallorytown.
Out on Quabbin Road, Arbru is Canada's only solar-powered brew pub that will be celebrating its third anniversary in business this July.
Phil says the journey so far has been incredible and they are proud to be a part of this community.
